The History of the AWP | Dragon Lore in CS2 (CS:GO)

The history of AWP | Dragon Lore began back in the days of CS:GO, specifically in the summer of 2014 when a new operation was added, and new rewards included this beauty. AWP | Dragon Lore was not contained in any case, like regular skins, but instead, it could be obtained from a souvenir package, which players received while watching tournament matches through the official stream within the game client.

Souvenir packages were dropped to random viewers during matches that were held on the "Cobblestone" map. It was from this package that the legendary AWP | Dragon Lore with unique tournament stickers could be obtained.

The skin became especially popular in 2016-2017. It was then that most players began to realize how rare AWP | Dragon Lore is, and as a result, the price increased and continued to grow with each month and each day, and continues to grow to this day.

How Rare Is the AWP | Dragon Lore?

Due to the fact that souvenir sets were received exclusively by players who watched the game, and because these souvenir sets dropped very rarely and, moreover, randomly, obtaining any skin from a gift set was quite problematic. However, CS2 (CS:GO) Dragon Lore is not a common skin. It has Covert rarity and has the lowest chances of obtaining it from a set, which increases the difficulty of obtaining it many times over.

Just imagine: to get a souvenir set is an extraordinary rarity, with odds of one in 10,000 or even 20,000. Then, when you receive the set, you still have to get the rarest item from there, namely the CS2 Dragon Lore.

The chances of obtaining AWP | Dragon Lore from these souvenir sets are a mere 0.64%. This is an average of once every 156 openings. Just imagine the rarity of this beauty!

AWP | Dragon Lore Wear Levels and Conditions

As we said above, you can get the CS2 (CS:GO) AWP | Dragon Lore in all wear levels. However, there is one exception, namely Battle-Scarred, which is only available from 0.45 - 0.70, which gives a greater chance of obtaining the skin in better quality.

Factory New 0.00 - 0.07

Minimal Wear 0.07 - 0.15

Field-Tested 0.15 - 0.38

Well-Worn 0.38 - 0.45

Battle-Scarred 0.45 - 0.70

In the best condition, Factory New, the AWP | Dragon Lore looks stunning, with not even a hint of scratches or signs of use. With each lower wear level, the skin significantly loses its visual appeal, and unfortunately, at Battle-Scarred, it looks very poor, the only thing that remains visible is a worn and damaged dragon.
