What Is the AWP | Graphite?

AWP | Graphite shares a polygon pattern with metallic paints over a chrome base coat. The dominant color is black, which features grey geometric figures. It has a calm and classic design.

Valve introduced AWP | Graphite to CS2 (originally CS:GO) on September 19, 2013, as part of the Operation Bravo Case, alongside the "Operation Bravo" update.

CS2 (CS:GO) AWP | Graphite is available in a float range from 0.00 to 0.12, presenting it in only two wear conditions: Factory New and Minimal Wear. It directly affects the slight price difference in wear levels and a low number of wear signs.

The History of the AWP | Graphite in CS2 (CS:GO)

AWP | Graphite is a classic and highly regarded skin in the history of Counter-Strike. It is known for its clean, minimalist, and elegant design. It features a chrome base coat adorned with a geometric polygon pattern in various shades of grey.

Despite its age, AWP | Graphite has maintained a strong level of popularity. Its understated yet sleek design appeals to many players who prefer a less flashy but still distinct look for their AWP. For example, you can find that sniper rifle skin in the inventories of professional players, such as skywhywalker, s1n, and motm.

AWP | Graphite isn't overly expensive nowadays, which makes it affordable for many players in the CS2 community. Its price has also increased 1.5 times over the last few years, from $100 to $150, which makes it less suitable for investment, but still a nice addition to the collection of CS2 (CS:GO) skins.

How Rare Is the AWP | Graphite?

Graphite is a Classified rarity skin. It means the skin is rare and the AWP | Graphite drop odds are low. The chance to get that sniper rifle through the case opening is approximately 3.2%. Each CS2 player can get AWP | Graphite skin by opening the Operation Bravo Case.

AWP | Graphite is available in a standard variant and with the StatTrack system. The StatTrack AWP | Graphite has a kill counter that tracks the number of kills the player made using the skin.

Here, we provide a detailed explanation of the AWP | Graphite drop odds:

Operation Bravo Case contains three Classified CS2 (CS:GO) skins, including AWP | Graphite, P2000 | Ocean Foam, and P90 | Emerald Dragon.

The approximate drop odds of any Classified tier skin from Operation Bravo Case is 3.2%.

To know the approximate drop odds of Graphite, we should divide 3.2% by three (the number of all Classified skins in the case): 3.2 / 3 = 1.066%. This is the approximate drop odds of getting AWP | Graphite from Operation Bravo Case.

The chance of getting the StatTrack version of Graphite is around 10%. It means the drop odds of getting AWP | Graphite with StatTrack counter from Operation Bravo Case іs 1.066% * 0.1 = 0.1066%.

AWP | Graphite Wear Levels and Conditions

AWP | Graphite is one of the CS2 (CS:GO) skins available in only two wear conditions: Factory New and Minimal Wear. For better understanding, we provide the detailed table with wear conditions and float value for that sniper rifle skin:

Factory New: 0.00 — 0.07

Minimal Wear: 0.07 — 0.12

The lowest float value means the highest quality of the AWP | Graphite, which is 0.00 Factory New. The signs of wear are noticeable from 0.07, which corresponds to a Minimal Wear condition characterized by scratches on various parts of the AWP. The float value of 0.12 has the worst wear quality (Minimal Wear), with scratches and abrasions on the body of the sniper rifle.

AWP | Graphite Price & Market Value

The AWP | Graphite price depends on the float value, wear condition (such as Factory New or Minimal Wear), availability of the StatTrack system, and the presence of stickers on the sniper rifle.

The standard Graphite in Factory New wear level costs around $150. The StatTrack AWP in the same wear quality could cost $350. The Minimal Wear Graphite could cost $140, and the StatTrack variant's price starts from $320.

What Is the StatTrack AWP | Graphite?

The StatTrack AWP | Graphite is more valuable than a standard version of the sniper rifle skin. For example, ST Graphite in Minimal Wear wear condition costs more than the non-ST version in Factory New wear level. The reason for such difference lies in the StatTrack technology, which counts the number of kills the player makes using a skin.

Here are the primary keys of differences:

Kill Counter: The AWP | Graphite, with the StatTrack technology, has a built-in digital counter that tracks the number of kills a player makes by using a skin.

Visual Indicator: The StatTrack AWP | Graphite features a small orange LED display on the body of the sniper rifle, which displays the kill counter.

Price and Rarity: The StatTrack AWP | Graphite's price is higher than the standard version of the skin. The official drop odds of obtaining a skin with the StatTrack system are 10% through case opening or 0.001066% to get Graphite ST from the Operation Bravo Case.

Overall, The StatTrack version of the weapon skin is more exclusive and valuable than the standard variant.

How to Get a AWP | Graphite

There are several options to get CS2 (CS:GO) AWP | Graphite. The most traditional way is case opening. The AWP | Graphite can be found in the Operation Bravo Case, which has only a 1% chance of dropping through CS2’s weekly drop system. Since these cases are rare, most players purchase them directly from the Steam Community Marketplace or from third-party platforms. However, the average cost to open an Operation Bravo Case, including the key, ranges from $40 to $70. Even with this investment, the odds of unboxing the AWP | Graphite are extremely low, making this method expensive and highly unreliable for most players.

Another option is to buy the AWP | Graphite skin directly through the Steam Community Marketplace. Steam is Valve’s official trading platform and provides high security, but there are some drawbacks. It has limited payment methods, higher fees, and no discounts or bonuses, meaning you often end up paying more than necessary.

Because of these limitations, many players prefer to use a trusted third-party marketplace like Skin.Place. Skin.Place offers lower prices, instant delivery, and a wide variety of payment options, making it more accessible to players around the world. You can easily buy exactly the AWP | Graphite you want. Frequent discounts and bonuses also make it a more cost-effective choice.

A third way to obtain the CS2 (CS:GO) AWP | Graphite is by using trade-up contracts. This method involves combining ten lower-rarity skins, such as Restricted skins, to receive one higher-rarity skin like a Classified item. However, this method comes with significant risks, as the outcome is random, and you cannot mix StatTrak and non-StatTrak skins in the same contract. Even if you use only Restricted skins from the Operation Bravo Case to improve your odds, there is still no guarantee of getting the AWP | Graphite, and you may lose valuable skins in the process.

Final Thoughts for Collectors and Players

The AWP | Graphite is one of the most elegant and desirable sniper rifle skins in CS2 (CS:GO), celebrated for its sleek, reflective design and enduring popularity among both casual players and collectors. Unlike many other skins in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, the AWP | Graphite stands out with its classic, minimalistic finish, making it a perfect choice for players who prefer a clean, professional look without flashy beasts or thematic artwork.

It’s also a valuable addition to any inventory, especially in its StatTrak version, which is priced significantly higher than the standard Graphite. Whether you’re looking to upgrade your competitive loadout or expand your collection, the AWP | Graphite offers both style and prestige. Equip this iconic sniper rifle and dominate your next match with a timeless metallic pattern that never goes out of fashion.
