#704 Pattern — Tier 2

Diving into Tier 2 territory, our first recommendation is pattern #704. It’s close to 78% blue on its playside, and it’s also going to the right place.

The entire top part of the blade is completely blue, making it one of the best Tier 2 patterns possible. Of course, the downside is that there’s a noticeable amount of gold at the bottom of the blade surrounding the ring area.

#55 Pattern — Tier 2

Unlike the Skeleton Knife Blue Gem patterns we featured earlier, most of pattern #601’s blue lies on the bottom side, giving it a golden tip.

#634 Pattern — Tier 3

The blue colors are also pretty weak on the #634’s backside at only 24.17%, and its placement isn’t too good either. Still, pattern #634 is a very solid pickup for its high blue percentage.

#374 Pattern — Tier 4 

You can’t expect super high blue coverage when stepping into Tier 4 territory, but pattern #374 is still worth a shout.

This Skeleton Knife Blue Gem pattern is only 57.37% blue on its playside, but the placement is pretty solid. This knife has a lot of blue coverage on the middle of the blade, all the way down to the ring. Meanwhile, the top is completely gold. So, you’re not getting too much blue, but at least the colors are helping each other out. 

The backside on pattern #374 is also worth mentioning, as it’s 56.53% blue. Those are some really decent numbers, especially for a Tier 4 pattern. 

#269 Pattern — Tier 4 

The final Blue Gem Skeleton Knife pattern we’ll feature is number #269, which is another Tier 4. This one is only 46.59% blue on its playside, which is pretty low, but again, placement matters.

The area around the ring is completely blue, and the top half of the knife is completely gold. It looks like a really even fifty-fifty split between blue and gold, which actually looks super neat and really unique. The backside can be considered a Gold Gem, as it’s only 15.98% blue.
