The History of the Sawed-Off | Morris in CS2 (CS:GO)

Sawed-Off | Morris in CS2 (CS:GO) was designed by Valve\'s in-house team and made its first appearance on September 3, 2018, as part of The 2018 Nuke Collection. The collection was released alongside other new map-themed skins, coinciding with the refresh of the iconic Nuke map. Gaining recognition for its intricate decorative motif, the skin gradually achieved spotlight during CS:GO Majors, especially when seen in high-profile matches on Nuke, boosting its desirability. The community responded positively to the elegant Victorian pattern—periodically boosting demand, particularly after notable pro uses on streams or LAN tournaments. When transitioning into Counter-Strike 2, the CS2 (CS:GO) Sawed-Off | Morris retained its classic look, and enhanced lighting in the new engine made its gold and floral accents even more appealing, securing its relevance and popularity among both new and veteran players.

How Rare Is the Sawed-Off | Morris?

The rarity of Sawed-Off | Morris in CS2 (CS:GO) is classified as Industrial Grade, making it more common compared to premium skins. The CS2 (CS:GO) Sawed-Off | Morris can only be obtained by opening The 2018 Nuke Collection souvenir packages or via trading. Since the 2018 Nuke Collection souvenir packages are primarily obtainable during specific Major events, and are not common drops, this somewhat impacts its ongoing supply and rarity. There is no direct case drop or conventional crate for the skin. Souvenir Sawed-Off | Morris items are rare, with odds of unboxing them directly from souvenir packages being quite low—especially with pro event stickers. While its general variant is relatively easy to get, souvenir versions with autographs of pro players or finals stickers are much harder to acquire, driving up value among collectors. The skin maintains moderate popularity thanks to its affordability, classic look, and collectible value.
