The History of the P90 | Glacier Mesh in CS2 (CS:GO)

The P90 | Glacier Mesh in CS2 (CS:GO) was designed by Valve’s in-house team and first introduced as part of The Inferno Collection on August 14, 2013, during the Arms Deal update. It quickly became popular for its icy, minimalist camouflage design. The skin's mesh stenciling and muted color scheme made it stand out among the earliest available SMG skins, especially in an era when elaborate finishes were rare. The CS2 (CS:GO) P90 | Glacier Mesh rose to moderate fame during early CS:GO Majors, as it featured in souvenir packages and was equipped by both casual players and pros seeking to show off older, classic collections. Community hype around the Glacier Mesh often resurged with the release of new Inferno maps and collections, keeping it relevant among traders and nostalgic fans. Its seamless transition into CS2 ensured its legacy continues, with many players still seeking the skin for its historical significance and timeless, wintry style, even if it's less flashy compared to newer arrivals.

How Rare Is the P90 | Glacier Mesh?

The P90 | Glacier Mesh in CS2 (CS:GO) is a Consumer Grade (Common) skin, primarily obtainable through The Inferno Collection. This collection is only available during certain events, making the CS2 (CS:GO) P90 | Glacier Mesh somewhat less common now compared to its earlier years. It has never been part of souvenir drops for Majors, which impacts its overall rarity profile. There are no official souvenir versions, and the probability of unboxing it depends on access to old Inferno Packages — currently, this source is limited to rare operations and collector trades. Rarity of P90 | Glacier Mesh is quite low, which keeps its price accessible, but its popularity persists among fans who appreciate vintage skins. Its value is influenced more by its status and nostalgia factor than sheer drop scarcity, making it a beloved classic in the community.

Factory New: P90 | Glacier Mesh Factory New appears almost untouched, with a vibrant blue and clear mesh. It is pricier due to its clean look and lesser supply.

Minimal Wear: P90 | Glacier Mesh Minimal Wear retains much of its original detail, with very slight scratches. It is generally the top choice for budget-conscious collectors who still want pristine visuals.

Field-Tested: P90 | Glacier Mesh Field Tested has more visible abrasions, especially on the edges. It remains popular for those who want a balance between cost and appearance.

Well-Worn: P90 | Glacier Mesh Well Worn features heavier wear and more significant fading of the finish pattern, leading to a rugged, battle-hardened look at a lower cost.

Battle-Scarred: P90 | Glacier Mesh Battle Scarred showcases the most faded and scratched version of the design, with the mesh and blue tones fairly worn. This is the cheapest option but least visually crisp.

StatTrak™ versions: All wear levels of P90 | Glacier Mesh are available in StatTrak variants. The P90 | Glacier Mesh StatTrak is more valuable due to its kill-tracking feature and extra rarity.
