The History of the P90 | Ancient Earth in CS2 (CS:GO)

The CS2 (CS:GO) P90 | Ancient Earth was introduced as part of The Ancient Collection, released on December 3rd, 2020, alongside Operation Broken Fang. The skin’s artwork, inspired by earthen colors and tribal designs, was created by community artist 2Minds, who is known for several other unique and popular CS:GO skins.

Upon its debut, P90 | Ancient Earth in CS2 (CS:GO) quickly gained attention for its earthy palette and intricate detailing, resonating with fans of the Ancient map. The skin saw a surge in usage during various CS:GO Majors where Ancient was featured in the map pool, leading to notable hype within the community. While it did not become famous for high-profile in-game plays by pros, its popularity persisted due to the Ancient map’s strategic importance.

With the transition from CS:GO to CS2, the CS2 (CS:GO) P90 | Ancient Earth retained its fanbase, continuing to be a solid pick for both casual and competitive players. The skin’s longstanding reputation for being both affordable and visually distinctive cements its ongoing popularity in the skin-collecting community.
