What is P2000 | Grassland? The P2000 | Grassland is a classic pistol skin in Counter-Strike 2 (CS2), recognized for its minimalistic and utilitarian design featuring earthy green and brown camouflage tones.
P2000 | Grassland in CS2 (CS:GO) holds a special place as one of the early, military-inspired finishes, making it a nostalgic pick among players who appreciate a rugged, no-nonsense look.
While it might not be the flashiest skin available, the CS2 (CS:GO) P2000 | Grassland is appreciated by collectors and veteran players who have a penchant for the original map collection skins. Its status is further elevated by its historic connection to the Dust Collection and its representation of the skin era at the dawn of CS:GO and CS2 skin trading.
For professionals and old-school collectors, owning a CS2 (CS:GO) P2000 | Grassland can be a subtle nod to Counter-Strike's roots and a valuable trophy for complete collection enthusiasts.
The History of the P2000 | Grassland in CS2 (CS:GO)
Originally, P2000 | Grassland was among the first generation of skins and quickly became associated with the iconic nature of the Dust Collection. Its utilitarian and subdued color palette was a departure from the more colorful finishes that appeared later, resonating with purists who preferred realistic military aesthetics.
Though it was never a spotlight skin at major CS:GO tournaments, the skin saw a surge in recognition during periods when older collection skins became limited in supply or were temporarily removed from map drop pools. As a result, the CS2 (CS:GO) P2000 | Grassland has gathered a following among collectors aiming to preserve the history of Counter-Strike skins.
With the transition into CS2, the skin maintains its vintage charm and is respected within the community for its persistence and classic vibes. While it may not headline showcase reels, its presence is felt every time a veteran player draws it in-game.
How Rare Is the P2000 | Grassland?
This removal has added slight scarcity, particularly with factory new and StatTrak variants. The probability of unboxing a P2000 | Grassland is higher than rare or covert skins, but finding one in pristine condition is less common today. Notably, there is no Souvenir version, so the odds pertain solely to regular and StatTrak drops. Despite being a low-tier skin, its simplicity and classic status maintain modest popularity among completionist collectors.
P2000 | Grassland Wear Levels and Conditions
Pattern difference: The main difference between individual skins comes down to the positioning of the camouflage, but overall the look remains very uniform.
Effect of float: The P2000 | Grassland float value ranges from 0.06 to 0.80, which allows it to be found in all wear levels from Factory New to Battle-Scarred. The P2000 | Grassland finish shows more pronounced scratches and worn spots with higher float values, especially along the pistol's edges and grip.
P2000 | Grassland Factory New: This is the cleanest form of the skin, with minimal visible wear. The earthy camo is crisp, and the weapon surface appears only lightly worn. Factory New is affordable (usually below $1), but generally harder to find compared to other wear levels.
P2000 | Grassland Minimal Wear: Slight wear becomes visible, mainly on the edges. This condition offers a solid compromise between price and visual quality, making it a preferred choice for budget-conscious collectors.
P2000 | Grassland Field Tested: Noticeable abrasions appear along major contact points. Field Tested is among the most commonly available variants and is typically the cheapest.
P2000 | Grassland Well Worn: Larger areas of the camo are faded, and the grip has significant wear. Well Worn versions are often only marginally cheaper than Field Tested, but with a heavily used look.
P2000 | Grassland Battle Scarred: The entire surface is heavily faded, with large patches of original finish missing. Battle-Scarred skins are inexpensive, but the wear is extremely pronounced.
P2000 | Grassland StatTrak: The StatTrak versions come for all regular conditions from Factory New to Battle Scarred and feature a digital kill counter on the side. These are slightly rarer and more valuable, especially if found in Factory New or Minimal Wear.
P2000 | Grassland float value: Lower float values (near 0.06) yield cleaner looks; high floats (above 0.70) display extensive wear. Collectors often pay a small premium for Factory New StatTrak or very low float examples.
P2000 | Grassland finish: Known for practicality and historical appeal, the skin’s subdued finish suits players favoring tactical aesthetics.
P2000 | Grassland Price & Market Value
For P2000 | Grassland Factory New, prices typically range from $0.20 to $0.40, while Minimal Wear copies are priced slightly less, averaging between $0.10 and $0.25. Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred float between $0.05 and $0.15. StatTrak variations of each condition raise the P2000 | Grassland price by around 2-3 times, with Factory New StatTrak occasionally reaching up to $1.00.
There is no Souvenir version, so pricing is based solely on the standard and StatTrak editions. Special stickers or extraordinarily low/high float values can marginally increase the P2000 | Grassland price.
How much is the P2000 | Grassland? It's one of the most affordable P2000 skins on the market. Is P2000 | Grassland worth buying? If you\'re a CS2 collection builder, nostalgia fan, or new trader, it\'s an excellent low-cost choice.
