The History of the P2000 | Fire Elemental in CS2 (CS:GO)

The P2000 | Fire Elemental in CS2 (CS:GO) was designed by the renowned community artist Valency, who is known for their vibrant and impactful cosmetic finishes. This skin made its debut on November 11, 2014, as part of The Vanguard Collection, released during Operation Vanguard. The CS2 (CS:GO) P2000 | Fire Elemental quickly stood out due to its bold design, featuring a chaotic explosion of red and orange flames against a deep blue background, symbolizing the elemental power of fire. Its high visual appeal led it to gain massive popularity during CS:GO Majors, especially when equipped by top-tier professionals. The skin received considerable hype during major operations and was often listed among the most visually impressive pistol skins. Over time, its unique aesthetic and rarity elevated the Fire Elemental to a key collector's item, with the community frequently discussing it as a "must-have" for P2000 enthusiasts. After the transition to CS2, the P2000 | Fire Elemental maintained its prestige and became more desirable as fewer new units were introduced, ensuring its continued appeal in the competitive and trading scenes. Today, the P2000 | Fire Elemental is a staple in many professionals' inventories, revered both for its history and its standout appearance.

How Rare Is the P2000 | Fire Elemental?

The rarity of P2000 | Fire Elemental in CS2 (CS:GO) is classified as Covert, making it one of the rarest pistol skins in the game. The CS2 (CS:GO) P2000 | Fire Elemental can only be unboxed from The Vanguard Weapon Case, which limits its supply significantly. Since Operation Vanguard cases are no longer actively dropping, the skin's availability has decreased, increasing the rarity of P2000 | Fire Elemental further. Unboxing odds for Covert rarity items are generally very low, typically under 1%, making it a coveted prize. There is no Souvenir version of this skin, which also impacts its exclusivity. Its enduring popularity, vibrant finish, and connection to high-profile CS2 matches have kept demand high among both casual players and collectors. This combination of limited drop source, removal from active drop pools, and continued player interest ensures that the CS2 (CS:GO) P2000 | Fire Elemental remains one of the most sought-after and valuable pistol skins.
