The History of the Negev | Loudmouth in CS2 (CS:GO)

Negev | Loudmouth in CS2 (CS:GO) was introduced to the game with the Kilowatt Case on February 6, 2023, marking its debut as part of a fresh collection of eye-catching skins. The skin was designed by community artist SLIMEface, who is well-known for creating vibrant, cartoon-inspired weapon finishes. Its striking design, featuring an oversized, open mouth and comic-style visual elements, immediately set it apart from traditional skins.

Initially, CS2 (CS:GO) Negev | Loudmouth received considerable community buzz upon release, especially during tournament streams and CS:GO Majors where the skin was showcased in highlight reels and pro matches. Players were drawn to both its humorous take on weapon cosmetics and its appeal to those who prefer something unconventional in their loadout. Throughout its availability, the Loudmouth has been a regular favorite in meme compilations, montages, and popular streams.

As Counter-Strike: Global Offensive transitioned into Counter-Strike 2, Negev | Loudmouth retained its presence and popularity, continuing to be used by both professionals and casual players. Its memorable appearance and notoriety during CS:GO esports events helped cement its cult status in the community, making it a lasting addition to the ever-evolving landscape of CS2 skins.

How Rare Is the Negev | Loudmouth?

The Negev | Loudmouth in CS2 (CS:GO) is classified as a Classified (pink) rarity skin, making it relatively rare and highly desirable among Negev cosmetics. The CS2 (CS:GO) Negev | Loudmouth is exclusively available through the Kilowatt Case, which means its supply is restricted to case openings, and there's no chance of it being obtained through random in-game drops.

Rarity of Negev | Loudmouth is influenced by its low unboxing chance—approximately 3.2% for Classified skins in any given case, with even lower odds for StatTrak variants. There are no Souvenir versions of the Loudmouth, so it does not carry the unique signature element that some other Negev skins might have. This consistent supply limitation has kept its market price stable, and the skin enjoys high popularity due to its comedic look and rarity. With its ongoing appeal to collectors and fans of flashy designs, the Loudmouth remains a staple for those seeking to stand out in the game.

Negev | Loudmouth Wear Levels and Conditions

Pattern description:
The Negev | Loudmouth features a bold and playful graphic: an exaggerated comic-style mouth, complete with white teeth and a vibrant red tongue, fills most of the receiver. The rest of the weapon is adorned with blue and purple hues, splashes, and graffiti-like accents for maximum visual impact.

Pattern difference:
The design placement does not vary significantly with pattern index—all versions showcase the mouth motif, ensuring consistency across each Loudmouth skin.

Effect of float:
The Negev | Loudmouth float value ranges from 0.00 to 1.00, allowing it to drop in all conditions: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred. High float values increase the visibility of scratches and paint wear, meaning the mouth graphic becomes increasingly distressed.

Wear levels explained:
Negev | Loudmouth Factory New: Boasts sharp outlines, rich colors, and virtually zero scratches or blemishes. The Negev | Loudmouth finish is pristine, making it the most prized option for collectors and commanding the highest market price.

Negev | Loudmouth Minimal Wear: Holds up most of the graphic's integrity, with only slight abrasions. This version offers an excellent compromise between condition and cost.

Negev | Loudmouth Field-Tested: Noticeable wear starts to appear, especially around the mouth and edges of the receiver. The colors may look slightly faded. Collectors on a budget often prefer this level.

Negev | Loudmouth Well Worn: Shows significant scratches and surface loss, especially on the high-contact areas. The vividness of the artwork diminishes, impacting its visual appeal.

Negev | Loudmouth Battle Scarred: The skin appears heavily worn, with major parts of the mouth graphic chipped or abraded. The Negev | Loudmouth finish in this state is favored by fans of the "battle-hardened" or gritty look, and is by far the most affordable.

Negev | Loudmouth StatTrak: All wear conditions can also be obtained in a Negev | Loudmouth StatTrak version, tracking confirmed kills over the weapon's lifetime. StatTrak models are generally more expensive and sought after, particularly in Factory New or Minimal Wear.

Across every wear level, demand is shaped by the Negev | Loudmouth float value, unique stickers applied, and whether or not it is a StatTrak model.
