The History of the MP9 | Wild Lily in CS2 (CS:GO)

The MP9 | Wild Lily in CS2 (CS:GO) was designed by the community artist 2minds and first released with the St. Marc Collection on November 18, 2019, during Operation Shattered Web. Its vivid, detailed lily flower patterns and bold color palette immediately caught the community's attention. Unlike many other skins, the CS2 (CS:GO) MP9 | Wild Lily was never available from weapon cases or regular drops but was exclusive to operation drops and later trade-up contracts. The skin gained significant traction during CS:GO Majors, with pro players equipping it and increasing its desirability. Community hype surged during periods when the St. Marc Collection was removed from active drops, causing a spike in market demand and price. As Counter-Strike transitioned to CS2, the Wild Lily maintained its elite status, drawing even more attention from top-tier players and collectors. Its combination of artful design, limited availability, and association with competitive events cements its legacy as one of the most renowned MP9 skins in CS2.

How Rare Is the MP9 | Wild Lily?

The rarity of MP9 | Wild Lily in CS2 (CS:GO) is classified as Covert, making it one of the rarest drops for the weapon class. The CS2 (CS:GO) MP9 | Wild Lily was only obtainable through the St. Marc Collection, which was exclusive to Operation Shattered Web and subsequently removed from the active drop pool. As a result, its supply is severely limited. The skin is not available in standard weapon cases, and unboxing odds were never publicly disclosed, but estimates place its probability far lower than case skins due to collection exclusivity. There is no Souvenir MP9 | Wild Lily available, adding to its scarcity and mystique. Its rarity, combined with its unique appearance, has led to high demand and sustained popularity among players and collectors alike.
