The History of the MP9 | Cobalt Paisley in CS2 (CS:GO)

The MP9 | Cobalt Paisley in CS2 (CS:GO) was designed by Valve artists and introduced on September 19, 2013, as part of the iconic Operation Bravo Collection in CS:GO. The skin boasts a vivid blue paisley pattern reminiscent of luxury couture fabrics, setting it apart visually from other MP9 options.

Initially met with a surge of excitement upon its release, the CS2 (CS:GO) MP9 | Cobalt Paisley rose to prominence during key CS:GO Majors, as pros and aspiring players showcased it in official tournaments and on popular streams. The skin’s intricate design, paired with the relative rarity of the Bravo Collection’s limited drops, elevated community interest, making it a cult favorite and subject of discussion during peak periods.

Despite the evolving skins market, MP9 | Cobalt Paisley maintained its reputation through in-game highlights and player endorsements. Its transition into CS2 brought renewed interest, especially as classic skins experienced a resurgence in popularity. Today, the MP9 | Cobalt Paisley continues to hold a special place in the inventories of both veteran collectors and newer players, admired for its history, beautiful finish, and enduring appeal.

How Rare Is the MP9 | Cobalt Paisley?

The MP9 | Cobalt Paisley in CS2 (CS:GO) is classified as a Classified (Purple) rarity skin, making it more difficult to obtain than many common MP9 skins. CS2 (CS:GO) MP9 | Cobalt Paisley is exclusively available from the Bravo Case and the Bravo Collection packages, both of which are discontinued and no longer drop in-game, significantly increasing the skin"s scarcity and value.

The rarity of MP9 | Cobalt Paisley means your chances of unboxing it from remaining cases are exceptionally low, and there is no Souvenir version available. Overall, owning this skin is a mark of distinction among MP9 enthusiasts and showcases.

Effect of float
The MP9 | Cobalt Paisley float value ranges from 0.00 to 0.55, enabling it to appear in Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred conditions.
