The History of the MP7 | Special Delivery in CS2 (CS:GO)

The MP7 | Special Delivery was designed by the community artist known as The Honey Badger and was first introduced in the Revolver Case update on December 8, 2015. Its launch brought a fresh, playful design to the MP7, instantly catching the attention of players with its airmail-inspired graphics featuring blue envelopes, red-and-white trim, and gold seal details.

The MP7 | Special Delivery in CS2 (CS:GO) quickly gained traction as users and influencers showcased it across YouTube and Twitch channels, especially during periods when the Revolver Case was popular. Although it did not become a staple at major CS:GO tournaments, the skin saw sporadic rises in popularity fueled by trending case unboxings and trading. The "special delivery" theme also inspired fan art and memes within the community, further increasing its recognition.

With the arrival of CS2, the CS2 (CS:GO) MP7 | Special Delivery was seamlessly carried over, maintaining its visual vibrance and collector interest. While it may not be the rarest of SMG skins, its unique design and history ensure it remains a sought-after choice for dedicated skin collectors and MP7 fans alike.

How Rare Is the MP7 | Special Delivery?

The MP7 | Special Delivery in CS2 (CS:GO) is classified as a Classified (pink) rarity skin, making it relatively rare compared to more common drops. This skin was originally found in the Revolver Case and the Shadow Case, both of which have since been removed from the active drop pool, thus limiting new supply. As a result, the CS2 (CS:GO) MP7 | Special Delivery is only obtainable through market trades and case openings from existing, often higher-priced, cases. The rarity of MP7 | Special Delivery is notable, as unboxing odds for a Classified skin hover around 3.2% per case, with odds for StatTrak™ versions being even lower. There is no Souvenir version of this skin, making StatTrak™ its rarest obtainable variant.

The skin enjoys solid popularity due to its eye-catching concept and nostalgia factor, often retaining value over time thanks to its restricted supply and vibrant design.

MP7 | Special Delivery Wear Levels and Conditions

Pattern description:
The MP7 | Special Delivery finish features a crisp blue and white base with red and gold postal motifs, including envelope and stamp details, that emphasize the "airmail" theme. The design remains visually consistent across pattern indices.

Effect of float:
The MP7 | Special Delivery float value ranges from 0.00 to 1.00, making it available in all five wear levels. As the float increases, abrasions become visible along the edges and envelope graphics, especially noticeable in lower condition skins.

Factory New (FN):
The MP7 | Special Delivery factory new variant displays the design in pristine clarity with no scratches, commanding the highest price—a favorite for collectors.

Minimal Wear (MW):
The MP7 | Special Delivery minimal wear version maintains bright colors with only slight wear at contact points, offering a balance of quality and affordability.

Field-Tested (FT):
The MP7 | Special Delivery Field Tested condition exhibits moderate fading and wear, especially on high-contact edges, reflecting use but preserving the main artwork.

Well-Worn (WW):
In MP7 | Special Delivery well worn, abrasions are more pronounced and colors appear faded, making it more budget-friendly for players who value style on a budget.

Battle-Scarred (BS):
The MP7 | Special Delivery Battle Scarred shows heavy abrasion and fading, often distorting the postal graphics and stamps, but typically offers the lowest entry price.

StatTrak™ Versions:
All wear levels are available as MP7 | Special Delivery StatTrak variants, adding a digital kill counter. These are much rarer and pricier, especially in better conditions.

The MP7 | Special Delivery finish maintains its airmail theme, but the degree of visible wear is influenced by both the float value and specific wear level, making condition and StatTrak™ status significant factors in desirability and price.

MP7 | Special Delivery Price & Market Value

The MP7 | Special Delivery in CS2 (CS:GO) has a broad price range determined by its condition, StatTrak™ status, and potential sticker additions. As of 2024, MP7 | Special Delivery price for Factory New typically ranges from $6 to $10 USD, while Minimal Wear sells for $3.50 to $7. Field-Tested and Well-Worn variants are more affordable, priced around $2 to $4, and Battle-Scarred versions can be found from $1.50. StatTrak™ variants command a significant premium: Factory New StatTrak™ can exceed $30, while lower grades range from $10 to $25.

There is no Souvenir version, so tournament pricing does not apply here. The MP7 | Special Delivery price is impacted by float value, rare stickers, and StatTrak™ status. Well-applied pro player stickers or extremely low/high float values will increase the item’s worth.

How much is the MP7 | Special Delivery? The price is competitive for a Classified SMG, offering accessibility for collectors and everyday players alike. Is MP7 | Special Delivery worth buying? If you value unique designs and moderate rarity at a reasonable price, this skin is an excellent choice.

What Is the Souvenir MP7 | Special Delivery

In MP7 | Special Delivery in CS2 (CS:GO), there is currently no Souvenir version of the skin available. Unlike some high-profile skins that can be found as Souvenirs from Major tournaments, CS2 (CS:GO) MP7 | Special Delivery was never included in any tournament souvenir packages. This means there are no event-commemorating or pro-autographed editions and, as a result, no record-breaking souvenir sales associated with this item.

Famous Players & Streamers with MP7 | Special Delivery
