The History of the MP7 | Nemesis in CS2 (CS:GO)

The MP7 | Nemesis in CS2 (CS:GO) was created by community designer Endrit. Released as part of the Chroma 2 Case in April 2015, its debut instantly caught the eye of players with its distinct, modern look featuring a cyberpunk-inspired, mechanical monster artwork.
Upon release, the CS2 (CS:GO) MP7 | Nemesis quickly climbed in popularity thanks to its clean lines, bold red and black colors, and crisp finish that looked impressive both in-hand and as part of a collection. Its rise coincided with several prominent CS:GO Majors, where fans and pros began to showcase the skin in competitive play. The hype was fueled further by the skin’s exclusive drop in Chroma 2 Cases.
Throughout its history, there have been periods where the community buzzed about the MP7 | Nemesis, especially during case openings and skin unboxing events. As Counter-Strike 2 was released, the skin successfully transitioned into the new engine, retaining its sharp visuals and appeal. In CS2, its popularity has remained strong, ensuring this skin’s continued legacy in both casual and competitive scenes.

How Rare Is the MP7 | Nemesis?

The MP7 | Nemesis in CS2 (CS:GO) is classified as a Classified (Pink) rarity skin, making it a hard-to-get but not the rarest drop tier. The CS2 (CS:GO) MP7 | Nemesis is obtainable exclusively from the Chroma 2 Case and is not available as a Souvenir drop.
Because the Chroma 2 Case is no longer in the active drop pool, the Rarity of MP7 | Nemesis has increased over time, adding to its desirability and price. The unboxing odds for a Classified skin are approximately 3.2%, making each case opening a gambit. There is no Souvenir MP7 | Nemesis, so signature or tournament versions do not exist.
This skin enjoys strong popularity for its looks and legacy, regularly showing up in trade discussions and market highlights. As supply continues to dwindle due to case unavailability, its rarity and value are expected to rise even further, cementing its role as a prime collector’s item.

MP7 | Nemesis Wear Levels and Conditions

Pattern description
The MP7 | Nemesis finish is characterized by a futuristic, beast-like mechanical motif that covers most of the gun in bold reds and deep blacks, creating a menacing, cybernetic appearance. Regardless of the pattern index, the design remains largely unchanged across all skins.
Effect of float
The MP7 | Nemesis float value ranges from 0.00 to 0.90, making it available in all standard wear levels: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred. As the float increases, subtle scratches and wear marks appear, primarily impacting the edges and the graphic’s high points.
Factory New: The MP7 | Nemesis factory new has a virtually pristine finish, showcasing the full detail and vibrance of its artwork. These are the most coveted by collectors but tend to command a significantly higher price.
Minimal Wear: The MP7 | Nemesis minimal wear version shows very light signs of handling, with barely noticeable abrasions. It’s often the best compromise for price and appearance.
Field-Tested: The MP7 | Nemesis Field Tested variant introduces moderate wear, with clear but not overwhelming surface scratches. This condition is generally more affordable, making it popular among casual players.
Well-Worn: The MP7 | Nemesis well worn skins display heavy wear and dulled colors. Collectors who value affordability over appearance might opt for this condition.
Battle-Scarred: The MP7 | Nemesis Battle Scarred has major visible wear, especially along the weapon’s edges, with more faded graphics and muted color tones.
StatTrak™ versions: Every wear level is also available as MP7 | Nemesis StatTrak, tracking kills for added prestige. These versions are typically valued higher due to their limited supply and added functionality.
In summary, your choice comes down to balancing price with cosmetic quality, with MP7 | Nemesis finish standing out in any state, but particularly so in Factory New and StatTrak versions.

MP7 | Nemesis Price & Market Value

MP7 | Nemesis price varies depending on its condition and whether it has StatTrak™ enabled.
