The History of the MAG-7 | Resupply in CS2 (CS:GO)

MAG-7 | Resupply in CS2 (CS:GO) was designed by the community artist '2minds'. The skin made its debut on September 22, 2021, introduced as part of the 2021 Mirage Collection during Operation Riptide. The bold look and military-inspired blue and orange accents instantly caught the attention of the community, especially due to its unique take on utilitarian aesthetics among MAG-7 skins. The skin saw a surge in attention during CS:GO Majors where Mirage map-themed souvenirs were popular, and while it quickly became well-known, its non-souvenir version stood out on its own for regular play. The hype for the skin has been maintained by its consistent use in Mirage matches and its visibility in both casual and tournament play. As CS:GO transitioned to CS2, the CS2 (CS:GO) MAG-7 | Resupply has retained its popularity, cementing its spot as both a favorite for everyday players and a desired collectible for enthusiasts, further boosted by the skin’s continued eye-catching design in the updated Source 2 engine.

How Rare Is the MAG-7 | Resupply?

The rarity of MAG-7 | Resupply in CS2 (CS:GO) is classified as Industrial Grade, making it more accessible than higher-tier finishes but still desirable due to its visually striking appearance. CS2 (CS:GO) MAG-7 | Resupply drops exclusively from the Mirage 2021 Collection, with its supply directly linked to the availability of this specific collection during operations or through trade-ups. The skin was not removed from the drop pool, so it remains obtainable, but its limit to certain collections impacts its market frequency. Unboxing a MAG-7 | Resupply generally has a higher probability compared to rare Covert drops, but the Industrial Grade still commands respect for its unique design. There is no Souvenir version, so odds apply only to regular drops. Its price is influenced by this steady but exclusive source, and its popularity remains significant within its grade, ensuring that the skin holds long-term appeal for players looking for budget-friendly and distinctive shotgun skins.

Pattern Description:
MAG-7 | Resupply finish shows off a bold blue body accented with orange hazard tape motifs, mimicking resupply crate aesthetics. The finish delivers an industrial, utilitarian vibe, making your MAG-7 stand out in any loadout.

Pattern Difference:
This skin has no significant pattern variation; the graphic stays consistent across different Float Values.

Effect of Float:
MAG-7 | Resupply float value ranges between 0.00 and 0.50, making it available in all conventional wear levels: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred.

Factory New:
MAG-7 | Resupply Factory New boasts vibrant colors and sharp hazard lines with little to no wear. Prices tend to be highest for this grade due to its pristine visuals.

Minimal Wear:
MAG-7 | Resupply Minimal Wear shows subtle edge wear but remains visually close to Factory New. This variant is popular for offering a near-perfect look at a moderately lower price.

Field-Tested:
MAG-7 | Resupply Field Tested demonstrates moderate scratches and some fading of blue and orange sections. It is widely available and offers an affordable alternative.

Well-Worn:
MAG-7 | Resupply Well Worn reveals more substantial abrasions and chipping, particularly on high-contact areas. The overall concept is preserved but colors look a bit dulled.

Battle-Scarred:
MAG-7 | Resupply Battle Scarred displays heavy wear, major scratches, and significant loss of vibrancy, yet remains recognizable.

StatTrak™ Versions:
MAG-7 | Resupply StatTrak is not available in this skin as the 2021 Mirage Collection does not offer StatTrak for this finish.

MAG-7 | Resupply float value heavily influences price and desirability, especially for collectors seeking the best finish. Ultimately, regardless of wear, this skin keeps its industrial edge, making it a distinctive upgrade at every condition.
