The History of the MAG-7 | Petroglyph in CS2 (CS:GO)

MAG-7 | Petroglyph in CS2 (CS:GO) was designed by the community artist "Teo~" and was introduced on September 14, 2017, as part of the Spectrum 2 Collection. The skin's debut aligned with the Spectrum 2 Case release, and its ancient rock carving-inspired aesthetic immediately resonated with players. The CS2 (CS:GO) MAG-7 | Petroglyph quickly garnered attention for its unique theme, particularly during key CS:GO Majors when several pros chose to wield it, amplifying its visibility and desirability. Community hype peaked thanks to its balanced combination of affordability and standout visuals, with many players sharing screenshots and unboxing highlights across gaming forums and social media. As Counter-Strike transitioned from CS:GO to CS2, the MAG-7 | Petroglyph retained its fanbase, remaining a popular choice due to its recognizable look and accessible price point. The skin has become a classic in both casual and professional play, further solidifying its reputation as a staple in the Counter-Strike skin landscape.

How Rare Is the MAG-7 | Petroglyph?
