The History of the MAC-10 | Strats in CS2 (CS:GO)

Who designed the MAC-10 | Strats?
MAC-10 | Strats in CS2 (CS:GO) was designed by the artist "Hoxton," recognized for integrating map strategy visuals with a street art twist. The skin first appeared in CS:GO with the release of The Anubis Collection on April 24, 2023.

Appearance history
Upon its debut, the bold, hand-drawn site calls, X marks, and planning arrows gave the skin instant character, reminiscent of classic strat-sheet drawings used by teams and players. The style paid homage to the tactical side of Counter-Strike, making it a favorite among fans who love the strategic aspect of gameplay.

Rise to fame during CS:GO Majors
While not a trophy skin, the MAC-10 | Strats quickly gained a reputation for its uniqueness during various CS:GO tournaments and Majors throughout 2023, where Anubis became an official map. The introduction boosted publicity, especially as pro players utilized the MAC-10 as a cost-effective weapon during force-buy rounds.

Community hype and transition to CS2
The community embraced the skin"s fun, accessible identity on Reddit and skin platforms. The migration of the skin into CS2 saw its popularity continue, retaining its charm and now recognized as part of the evolving Anubis meta. The CS2 (CS:GO) MAC-10 | Strats maintains strong standing in both play and collection circles.

How Rare Is the MAC-10 | Strats?

MAC-10 | Strats in CS2 (CS:GO) is classified as an Industrial Grade (light blue) skin, making it a common-tier drop. It is available exclusively from The Anubis Collection Package—released for the Anubis map"s addition and distributed through in-game missions and drops during promotional events. As of now, it has not been removed from the drop pool, ensuring a steady but not oversaturated supply.

Rarity of MAC-10 | Strats is thus on the lower end, but its limited availability to the Anubis Collection adds some exclusivity. There is no Souvenir or StatTrak version offered, which also keeps unboxing odds straightforward and prices centered around accessibility. CS2 (CS:GO) MAC-10 | Strats remains a popular and budget-friendly choice, making it highly visible in both casual and ranked play.

MAC-10 | Strats Wear Levels and Conditions

Pattern description
The MAC-10 | Strats finish features a matte black base with vibrant colored chalk diagrams and hand-drawn tactical icons—conveying the feel of a strategic playbook directly on the weapon"s receiver and slide. Each skin has minimal pattern difference because the artwork is fixed, ensuring consistent visual appeal.

Effect of float
The MAC-10 | Strats float value ranges from 0.00 to 0.50, making it available in all conditions except Factory New (rarely+ exceptionally clean). The float affects how parts of the chalky design fade and show wear, especially on high-use areas.

MAC-10 | Strats Factory New
This variant is the clearest, with crisp lines and vibrant chalk colors fully intact. MAC-10 | Strats factory new items command the highest price (often 5x more than Battle-Scarred), prized by collectors for their near-mint state.

MAC-10 | Strats Minimal Wear
MAC-10 | Strats minimal wear shows very slight chalk fading and edge abrasions. It remains visually sharp, is common among casual players, and offers a cheaper alternative to Factory New.

MAC-10 | Strats Field-Tested
MAC-10 | Strats Field Tested exhibits moderate wear, with faded diagrams and noticeable scratches. This is the most traded condition, balancing price with visual fidelity.

MAC-10 | Strats Well Worn
A MAC-10 | Strats well worn will show sizable fading, dulled color, and exposed metal. The price drops further but maintains the iconic artwork.

MAC-10 | Strats Battle Scarred
MAC-10 | Strats Battle Scarred is the most heavily worn version, featuring extensive loss of chalk detail and muted look. It"s the budget choice, yet still recognizable.

StatTrak™ versions
There is no MAC-10 | Strats StatTrak available, which means you will not find kill-tracking variants for this finish.
In summary, MAC-10 | Strats in CS2 (CS:GO) offers stable wear-based pricing and a stylish MAC-10 | Strats finish across all regular grades, with MAC-10 | Strats float value impacting visual condition and market value.

MAC-10 | Strats Price & Market Value

MAC-10 | Strats in CS2 (CS:GO) is among the most budget-friendly SMG skins. The MAC-10 | Strats price in Factory New condition typically ranges from $4 to $6 USD, while Minimal Wear averages $2.50 to $4. Field-Tested versions sell for around $1.50 to $2. MAC-10 | Strats price for Well-Worn dips to $1–$1.60, and Battle-Scarred falls to about $0.90–$1.30. Prices are stable due to the large number in circulation as part of The Anubis Collection.

Souvenir version pricing is not applicable, as there are no Souvenir MAC-10 | Strats available. Factors that influence the MAC-10 | Strats price are primarily float value—the closer to Factory New, the higher the market cost. Unique stickers (especially pro signatures from Major events), if applied, might modestly increase value. However, with no Souvenir or StatTrak variants, prices remain straightforward and accessible.

How much is the MAC-10 | Strats? It depends on the wear, with Field-Tested and below under $2. Is MAC-10 | Strats worth buying? For players prioritizing a creative, standout skin at a low cost, it"s an excellent option with stable resale value.
