The History of the MAC-10 | Saibā Oni in CS2 (CS:GO)

The MAC-10 | Saibā Oni in CS2 (CS:GO) was designed by community artist 2Minds and released as part of the Prisma 2 Case on March 31, 2020. Combining neon hues with an intimidating oni mask, the skin stood out instantly due to its cyberpunk theme and intricate detail. Following its debut, the CS2 (CS:GO) MAC-10 | Saibā Oni quickly caught the eye of the Counter-Strike community, especially during major tournaments where flashy weapon finishes were showcased on big stages. The design’s futuristic and daring aesthetic resonated with fans seeking something bold and different. Hype reached its peak during various CS:GO Majors when professional players equipped the skin, leading to widespread popularity in streams and highlight reels. With the transition to CS2, the MAC-10 | Saibā Oni maintained its appeal, benefiting from improved graphics and lighting, and continued to be a common sight in competitive lobbies and trade discussions.

How Rare Is the MAC-10 | Saibā Oni?

The MAC-10 | Saibā Oni in CS2 (CS:GO) is classified as a Classified grade SMG skin, making it one of the rarer drops from the Prisma 2 Case. The CS2 (CS:GO) MAC-10 | Saibā Oni has a drop rate in line with other Classified skins, estimated at approximately 3.2% chance per case. It cannot be obtained from souvenir packages, nor is it included in the current active drop pool outside the Prisma 2 Case. This limited availability has contributed to its moderate rarity. As one of the more visually exciting Classified SMG skins, its popularity remains high, especially among fans of bright, anime-inspired designs. While there is no Souvenir MAC-10 | Saibā Oni, the skin enjoys a steady demand on the Market, with StatTrak™ versions also sought after for their added flair.

MAC-10 | Saibā Oni Wear Levels and Conditions

Pattern description
The MAC-10 | Saibā Oni finish features a dynamic cyberpunk aesthetic with a blue, purple, and magenta gradient, centered around a menacing oni mask and neon accents that cover the main receiver.

Pattern difference
The general appearance of the skin remains mostly consistent regardless of the pattern index, making each version visually similar.

Effect of float
The MAC-10 | Saibā Oni float value ranges from 0.00 to 1.00, giving it broad compatibility across all conditions. The main visual changes are due to the level of wear and abrasion on the artwork.

Skin wear levels explained:
MAC-10 | Saibā Oni Factory New: This condition displays the full vibrancy and detail of the skin’s colours and motifs, with minimal to no visible scratches. Prices are at a premium due to perfect appearance and collector demand.
MAC-10 | Saibā Oni Minimal Wear: Still vibrant, with only light abrasions starting near edges. These offer a good balance between price and quality, retaining much of the skin’s appeal.
MAC-10 | Saibā Oni Field Tested: Noticeable signs of wear with slight fading and minor scratches. The base design remains clear, making it popular for gameplay due to lower prices.
MAC-10 | Saibā Oni Well Worn: More obvious wear, with expanded surface abrasions and duller colors. The oni artwork is still present, but the overall vibrancy is reduced.
MAC-10 | Saibā Oni Battle Scarred: Displays significant wear and fading, with heavy abrasions. The skin appears rugged, and prices are typically the lowest for this condition, ideal for budget-focused collectors.
MAC-10 | Saibā Oni StatTrak™: All conditions above can come with StatTrak™ counters. These versions command higher prices, as StatTrak™ adds tracking capability and is desirable for players aiming to showcase their kill counts.

The MAC-10 | Saibā Oni finish remains a fan favorite, and its float value plays a key role in determining visual quality and market price for each wear level.
