The History of the MAC-10 | Nuclear Garden in CS2 (CS:GO)

Who designed the MAC-10 | Nuclear Garden?
MAC-10 | Nuclear Garden in CS2 (CS:GO) was created by community artist EGO DEATH, known for their detailed and bold custom artwork.

Appearance history
This skin debuted on September 30, 2014, as part of The Cache Collection, released alongside Operation Vanguard. Instantly recognizable due to its vivid green radioactive theme, the CS2 (CS:GO) MAC-10 | Nuclear Garden quickly became a favorite for players seeking something that stood apart from more traditional military skins.

Rise to fame
The skin achieved its cult status during various CS:GO Majors, where players frequently showcased it on popular competitive maps like Cache. The release of souvenir versions during tournaments, although not featuring the MAC-10 | Nuclear Garden, brought more visibility to the Cache Collection skins overall.

Community hype was especially high during the early years when the skin was a top pick for those looking to add a radioactive edge to their T-side arsenal. Its legacy as part of the now-retired Cache Collection further cemented its status among collectors.

Transition into CS2
With the launch of CS2, the MAC-10 | Nuclear Garden remains relevant, sought after for its distinctive finish and nostalgic value in the new engine. Its rarity and aesthetics continue to attract both long-time enthusiasts and new-generation players.

How Rare Is the MAC-10 | Nuclear Garden?

The MAC-10 | Nuclear Garden in CS2 (CS:GO) is classified as a Mil-Spec (Blue) skin, which places it on the more common end of the rarity spectrum. It is exclusively available from The Cache Collection, which was primarily obtainable through in-game drops during Operations and as souvenir packages during specific events. However, the CS2 (CS:GO) MAC-10 | Nuclear Garden is no longer actively dropping since the introduction of Operation Shattered Web and the retirement of the original Cache Collection, significantly increasing its scarcity. The rarity of MAC-10 | Nuclear Garden means odds of unboxing it from any remaining souvenir or collection packages are now extremely low, and the absence of a souvenir version further limits special variants. Despite its classification, dwindling supply and community affection have kept demand strong. Its quirky design and nostalgic appeal maintain solid popularity in both casual and competitive play, making it a standout collectible among MAC-10 skins.

MAC-10 | Nuclear Garden Wear Levels and Conditions

Pattern description
The MAC-10 | Nuclear Garden finish showcases bold, radioactive green panels layered with vibrant, toxic symbols and biohazard motifs on a black SMG frame. The highly detailed pattern stands out in any inventory.

Pattern difference
There is minimal pattern variation for this skin, so each MAC-10 | Nuclear Garden in CS2 (CS:GO) will look largely the same regardless of the pattern index.

Effect of float
The CS2 (CS:GO) MAC-10 | Nuclear Garden float value ranges from 0.00 (Factory New) up to 0.70 (Battle-Scarred), making it available in all wear conditions. The MAC-10 | Nuclear Garden float value directly impacts the vibrancy; more wear creates scratches and faded green details, particularly on the body.

Factory New
MAC-10 | Nuclear Garden factory new skins boast the most vivid greens and sharp hazard symbols, commanding the highest prices and strong collector demand.

Minimal Wear
MAC-10 | Nuclear Garden minimal wear versions show very slight dulling on high points but retain most of their original gloss, making them a preferred choice for players who want a nearly pristine look at a more approachable price.

Field-Tested
The MAC-10 | Nuclear Garden Field Tested variety includes more visible scratches and mild fading throughout. This is a popular budget pick and can show some battle history without losing its core appeal.

Well-Worn
MAC-10 | Nuclear Garden well worn skins display significant abrasion, especially on the barrel and central body. The neon effect is faded, but the skin remains easily recognizable.

Battle-Scarred
The MAC-10 | Nuclear Garden Battle Scarred option features deep wear with heavy scratches and substantial color loss. Collectors may seek these for completion, but players often prefer higher grades.

StatTrak™ versions
The MAC-10 | Nuclear Garden StatTrak variant is not available, as the Cache Collection does not offer StatTrak™ finishes for this skin.

Overall, the MAC-10 | Nuclear Garden finish is a testament to its radioactive theme, and the MAC-10 | Nuclear Garden float value combined with wear makes every condition a distinct visual experience.

What Is the Souvenir MAC-10 | Nuclear Garden

Souvenir skins in CS2 are special gold-tier items awarded during major tournaments, typically adorned with stickers from the event, teams, and pro players.
