What is MAC-10 | Ensnared? The MAC-10 | Ensnared is a distinctive SMG skin available in Counter-Strike 2, featuring a captivating design inspired by jungle vines and predatory traps. As a part of recent collections in CS2 (CS:GO), this skin quickly gathered attention among players looking for unique visual flair and affordability.
MAC-10 | Ensnared in CS2 (CS:GO) is especially appreciated by those who favor aggressive, fast-paced playstyles and want a thematic, standout look for their loadout. The skin has gained modest recognition among both regular players and collectors due to its accessible price point and eye-catching appearance. While not the rarest in the game, the CS2 (CS:GO) MAC-10 | Ensnared is still seen as a worthy addition for anyone seeking a budget-friendly yet visually appealing SMG skin that can fit any collection, from casual fans to more serious traders and pro players alike.
The History of the MAC-10 | Ensnared in CS2 (CS:GO)
This skin gained traction when several prominent streamers showcased it in their inventory and loadout videos, citing its organic pattern and contrast as reasons for its popularity. Although the CS2 (CS:GO) MAC-10 | Ensnared was never the center of attention in major international tournaments, it did enjoy hype during various Operation events and saw increased interest in the marketplace whenever Dust II-themed drops occurred.
As Counter-Strike transitioned from CS:GO to Counter-Strike 2, the Ensnared remained a staple for players seeking affordable and aesthetically pleasing SMG skins. Community groups and trading forums often recommend it to new players due to its accessibility and visual uniqueness, keeping its presence alive among both casuals and collectors.
How Rare Is the MAC-10 | Ensnared?
Rarity of MAC-10 | Ensnared is moderate; it is not part of the common drop pool and must be sourced through the collection package, which slightly limits its supply. There is no Souvenir version for this skin, so the odds are more reliant on the randomness of collection unboxings, but unboxing this skin in high grades like Factory New remains less likely due to float distribution.
The MAC-10 | Ensnared enjoys reasonable popularity among budget players and those filling out their collection with Dust II-themed items, but its commonality and absence from drop pools increase its appeal primarily for newer players and collectors completing collections.
MAC-10 | Ensnared Wear Levels and Conditions
The MAC-10 | Ensnared finish features a striking web of green, purple, and black vine patterns, evoking a wild, overgrown jungle feel. The main body is wrapped in tangled branches and leaves, making it instantly recognizable.
Pattern difference
The design remains consistent regardless of pattern index, ensuring little to no variation between individual skins.
Effect of float
MAC-10 | Ensnared float value ranges from 0.00 to 0.50, allowing it to drop in all regular wear states except Factory New and Minimal Wear. The float affects the visual wear on the skin, with abrasions primarily appearing on the edges and magazine.
MAC-10 | Ensnared Factory New
There are no Factory New versions available, as the float value does not allow for this condition.
MAC-10 | Ensnared Minimal Wear
Minimal Wear versions exist, but are rare and feature only slight edge abrasions. Pricing is typically a bit higher than Field-Tested due to limited supply and cleaner appearance.
MAC-10 | Ensnared Field-Tested
The Field-Tested variant is the most common, showing moderate wear on the edges. It's a popular choice with a mid-range price, making it widely accessible.
MAC-10 | Ensnared Well Worn
Well-Worn skins display heavier abrasions and faded areas across the weapon, with lower cost compared to higher grades.
MAC-10 | Ensnared Battle Scarred
Battle-Scarred finish features extensive scratches and faded areas, often resulting in a significantly washed-out design but is the cheapest version available.
MAC-10 | Ensnared StatTrak
There are no StatTrak versions available of the MAC-10 | Ensnared.
Skin Features
The MAC-10 | Ensnared finish makes it a visually appealing skin for players seeking a nature-inspired look, emphasizing its differences across wear levels. The MAC-10 | Ensnared float value directly impacts price and desirability, especially in the rarer Minimal Wear condition.
MAC-10 | Ensnared Price & Market Value
How much is the MAC-10 | Ensnared in souvenir versions? This skin does not have a Souvenir version, which means its price is solely influenced by wear, float value, and added stickers. Factory New versions are extremely rare and only sometimes available through trade-ups, often commanding a higher price due to scarcity.
Overall, the MAC-10 | Ensnared price makes this SMG skin an accessible entry point for new collectors or budget-minded players. Is MAC-10 | Ensnared worth buying? If you appreciate its distinctive look and are building a Dust II or nature-inspired loadout, then the low MAC-10 | Ensnared price makes it a smart, affordable addition to your CS2 inventory.
