The History of the MAC-10 | Allure in CS2 (CS:GO)

MAC-10 | Allure in CS2 (CS:GO) first appeared in the Prisma 2 Case, which was released on March 31, 2020. The talented skin artist “kio,” known for turning real-world art into in-game masterpieces, designed this skin. It quickly became a fan-favorite for its elegant, art nouveau-inspired motif, featuring a captivating feminine figure and deep crimson and blue hues.

Initially, the skin garnered attention during the height of the CS:GO Major hype in 2020. Its unique looks and vibrant palette set it apart from other MAC-10 skins, leading to a spike in market interest and value. Community discussions, content creator showcases, and Reddit threads helped propel it to fame as one of Prisma 2’s highlight items.

As time went on and transition to CS2 began, CS2 (CS:GO) MAC-10 | Allure maintained its popularity, celebrated for both competitive play and inventory flexing. The skin continues to inspire admiration and has found lasting relevance among skin collectors, thanks to its timeless design and strong presence in community trading circles.

How Rare Is the MAC-10 | Allure?

The MAC-10 | Allure in CS2 (CS:GO) is classified as a Classified (Pink) rarity skin, making the Rarity of MAC-10 | Allure among the more elusive drops.
CS2 (CS:GO) MAC-10 | Allure can only be obtained from the Prisma 2 Case, keeping it limited to that specific drop pool. This skin is not available as a souvenir drop and is not included in any active skin collections outside Prisma 2—helping to cement its popularity and scarcity.

With a drop rate of roughly 3.2% for Classified skins in cases and an even slimmer chance for StatTrak™ versions, actually unboxing the MAC-10 | Allure is a rare moment for most players. Its popularity continues to rise due to its beautiful design and limited supply, especially since the Prisma 2 Case is no longer among the actively dropping cases, contributing further to its exclusivity.

MAC-10 | Allure Wear Levels and Conditions

Pattern description:
The MAC-10 | Allure finish features an unmistakable art nouveau design with a striking red and deep blue background, highlighted by a mysterious woman in gold. The pattern itself does not change significantly between pattern indexes, ensuring that each MAC-10 | Allure maintains the same overall appearance.

Effect of float:
The MAC-10 | Allure float value spans 0.00 to 0.70, covering all wear levels. As the float value increases, scratches and abrasions become more visible, mainly on the magazine and body of the SMG.

Wear levels explained:
MAC-10 | Allure Factory New: With a float value near 0.00, Factory New versions are pristine, with vibrant colors and virtually no visible wear. Prices are much higher due to their flawless appearance.
MAC-10 | Allure Minimal Wear: This variant shows minimal signs of use, typically minor scuffing around the edges, but maintains the integrity of its art. It’s a more affordable yet beautiful option for collectors.
MAC-10 | Allure Field-Tested: Some wear is visible across the weapon, especially on the grip and magazine, but the main graphical elements are intact. This is one of the most commonly owned versions, balancing price and aesthetics.
MAC-10 | Allure Well Worn: Noticeable fading and abrasions across the skin, with duller colors and more scratched-up details. This condition offers a budget-friendly approach without losing the unique style.
MAC-10 | Allure Battle Scarred: Heavily worn, with substantial scratches and major loss of finish, particularly on high-contact surfaces. Still beloved by some for its battle-hardened look and significant price drop.
MAC-10 | Allure StatTrak™: This variant tracks your kills and is available across all wear levels. StatTrak versions command a premium, especially in Factory New and Minimal Wear, due to the rarity and added tracking feature.

Overall, the MAC-10 | Allure finish offers a wide selection for every budget, with each wear condition distinctly valued in the marketplace.
