The History of the MAC-10 | Acid Hex in CS2 (CS:GO)

MAC-10 | Acid Hex in CS2 (CS:GO) was designed by community artist PTP, and made its debut on September 2, 2015, as part of the Shadow Collection, which arrived alongside the Shadow Case update. The eye-catching skin quickly gained traction for its bold, neon blend of greens and purples arranged in a dynamic hexagonal motif—something rarely seen on other skins at the time. Its rise to fame accelerated during several CS:GO Majors, where pro players and casuals alike adopted the skin for its stylish look on a budget. Over the years, the community has rallied around the MAC-10 | Acid Hex during various in-game events and sales, causing periodic spikes in demand. As CS2 launched and integrated the familiar CS:GO skins, the CS2 (CS:GO) MAC-10 | Acid Hex continued its run, further solidifying its reputation as a core part of the SMG skin ecosystem. Its widespread usage in CS2 has ensured its ongoing relevance among both new players and longtime collectors.

Field-Tested: MAC-10 | Acid Hex Field Tested is commonly seen in the market, presenting moderate wear, small scratches, and some dulling of key colors.
Well-Worn: MAC-10 | Acid Hex well worn features duller colors, pronounced abrasions around the body, and less impressive hex detail.

StatTrak™ Versions: MAC-10 | Acid Hex StatTrak offers a kill-tracking counter, making it sought after by competitive players who want to show off their prowess. StatTrak versions exist for all wear levels and usually fetch a premium price regardless of condition.
