The History of the ★ M9 Bayonet | Scorched in CS2 (CS:GO)

The ★ M9 Bayonet | Scorched's design was crafted by Valve's internal art team, who envisioned a hard-worn military bayonet with a scorched, battlefield-inspired finish. It made its first appearance in CS:GO on August 14, 2013, as part of the "Arms Deal" update, marking the introduction of the M9 Bayonet to the weapon case drops. ★ M9 Bayonet | Scorched Wear Levels and Conditions

Pattern description
The ★ M9 Bayonet | Scorched finish features a black and tan camouflage, reminiscent of charred earth and smoke. Its pattern is randomly applied, so the intensity and spread of the scorched marks will vary slightly from knife to knife.

Pattern difference
Due to the random nature of the camo pattern, some players hunt for unique appearances, but the effect is largely uniform.

Effect of float
The ★ M9 Bayonet | Scorched float value ranges from 0.06 to 0.80, making it available in every wear level.

Skin Features
It is a Covert Knife with both normal and StatTrak™ variants.

★ M9 Bayonet | Scorched Factory New
Factory New versions boast the clearest, darkest camo pattern with minimal wear, making them the most desirable—and priciest—on the market.

★ M9 Bayonet | Scorched Minimal Wear
Minimal Wear shows subtle abrasions but keeps most of the sharp scorched effect, offering nearly the same appeal as Factory New at a lower price point.

★ M9 Bayonet | Scorched Field Tested
Field-Tested is the most common, with noticeable scratches and minor fading on the blade, making it a cost-effective but still stylish option.

★ M9 Bayonet | Scorched Well Worn
Well-Worn knives have significant fading, with many areas of the black camo nearly worn away, valued less for their rugged look.

★ M9 Bayonet | Scorched Battle Scarred
Battle-Scarred displays heavy abrasions, with much of the camo faded and the base metal visible, making it the lowest-priced variant.

★ M9 Bayonet | Scorched StatTrak™
Every wear level is also available in StatTrak™, which tracks kills made with the knife. StatTrak™ adds a premium to the price, especially for Factory New and Minimal Wear versions.

★ M9 Bayonet | Scorched finish stays visually dynamic across wear levels, with float value directly affecting the darkness and sharpness of the camo.
