The History of the M4A4 | The Coalition in CS2 (CS:GO)

The prestigious CS2 (CS:GO) M4A4 | The Coalition skin was designed by community artist "Millenia" as part of the Operation Broken Fang Collection, which debuted on December 3, 2020. The skin’s opulent gold engravings and classic aesthetics set it apart from other rifle skins at launch, immediately catching the eye of both everyday players and skin collectors.

When M4A4 | The Coalition in CS2 (CS:GO) was first released, its availability was tightly limited to the Broken Fang Collection Package, which further increased its desirability. As professional players used this skin during major CS:GO tournaments, the hype surrounding The Coalition grew. Notably, it gained significant recognition throughout 2021 as it became a favorite showcase in several prominent matches and online streams.

Its sustained popularity and luxury design gave it a lasting place in the community, particularly as the skin transitioned seamlessly into CS2. Today, CS2 (CS:GO) M4A4 | The Coalition remains a trophy piece within collections, signifying both taste and exclusivity for owners, and continuing to generate excitement among esports fans and traders around the globe.

How Rare Is the M4A4 | The Coalition?

M4A4 | The Coalition in CS2 (CS:GO) is categorized as a Covert (red) rifle skin, placing it in the highest rarity tier for weapon finishes. The CS2 (CS:GO) M4A4 | The Coalition can only be obtained by opening the Operation Broken Fang Collection Package, increasing its scarcity. Rarity of M4A4 | The Coalition is heightened by the collection’s removal from active drop pools once Operation Broken Fang ended, limiting its supply and further boosting its value on the market.

The probability of unboxing an M4A4 | The Coalition is extremely low, as Covert skins have a drop chance of less than 1%. No Souvenir version exists, so the odds focus solely on the standard and StatTrak varieties. Its combination of rarity, high-level artwork, and player demand maintain its significant popularity in every phase of CS2.

M4A4 | The Coalition Wear Levels and Conditions

Pattern description
M4A4 | The Coalition finish is defined by an intricate gold filigree pattern set atop a matte black base, lending a classic and luxurious feel. There are no notable pattern differences, ensuring a consistent look across all skins.

Effect of float
The M4A4 | The Coalition float value ranges from 0.00 to 0.80, covering all five wear levels. Lower floats preserve the sharpest gold details, while higher floats will introduce different levels of wear and scratches.

M4A4 | The Coalition Factory New: This top-tier version boasts flawless gold plating and undamaged finish, demanding the highest prices—often exceeding $350–$400 USD for non-StatTrak, and much more for StatTrak editions.

M4A4 | The Coalition Minimal Wear: Slight hint of use, with micro abrasions only upon close inspection. Price is less than Factory New but remains one of the most valuable in the series.

M4A4 | The Coalition Field Tested: Noticeable wear and scratches along key contact points, resulting in a more rugged appearance. Prices in this category are significantly lower, usually ranging from $150–$200, depending on float and StatTrak.

M4A4 | The Coalition Well Worn: Heavy abrasions with dulled gold and visible surface scratches. Still desirable for budget collectors, but value decreases accordingly.

M4A4 | The Coalition Battle Scarred: Most of the gold plating is faded, with extensive surface flaws. This is the most affordable version, but still commands a significant premium due to rarity.

M4A4 | The Coalition StatTrak: All wear levels offer StatTrak variants, recording in-game kills directly on the rifle's digital counter. StatTrak raises both desirability and price across every condition.

Overall, the M4A4 | The Coalition finish is prized for its luxury style and consistency. The float value plays a key role in the final appearance and market price, especially for Factory New and minimal float versions.

M4A4 | The Coalition Price & Market Value

M4A4 | The Coalition price ranges dramatically depending on its wear level and StatTrak status. On the Steam Community Market and third-party platforms, the M4A4 | The Coalition in CS2 (CS:GO) commands a substantial premium: Factory New versions typically sell between $350–$400 USD, while StatTrak Factory New can exceed $600. M4A4 | The Coalition price for Field-Tested hovers from $120–$190 (StatTrak $350+), and Well-Worn or Battle-Scarred variants can sometimes be found under $100.

How much is the M4A4 | The Coalition with special stickers or ultra-low float? These may reach even higher values, especially when paired with rare or desirable stickers. As there is no Souvenir version, trader focus is on normal and StatTrak options.

Factors such as float value, StatTrak capability, and applied stickers heavily impact the M4A4 | The Coalition price. Is M4A4 | The Coalition worth buying? For collectors and players seeking luxury and exclusivity, few skins match its premium appeal.
