The History of the ★ Hand Wraps | Giraffe in CS2 (CS:GO)

The ★ Hand Wraps | Giraffe in CS2 (CS:GO) was designed by the CS:GO development team at Valve and introduced as part of the Glove Case update in November 2016. Boasting a distinctive brown and beige giraffe-patterned finish, it quickly captured the community's interest for its playful yet stylish look. The skin rose to prominence during several CS:GO Majors, where pro players and high-profile streamers showcased it on live broadcasts, increasing its desirability. Community hype for the CS2 (CS:GO) ★ Hand Wraps | Giraffe periodically surged whenever glove cases were re-released or gloves were seen used in iconic plays. After the transition from CS:GO to CS2, the skin maintained and even enhanced its popularity, as more players sought legacy cosmetic items with lasting prestige. Today, the ★ Hand Wraps | Giraffe remains a symbol of luxury and taste among players and collectors, representing a unique piece of CS2 cosmetic history.

How Rare Is the ★ Hand Wraps | Giraffe?

The ★ Hand Wraps | Giraffe in CS2 (CS:GO) is classified as Extraordinary (red) rarity and is only obtainable from the Glove Case and Operation Hydra Case. As glove cases are now retired from active drop pools, the supply of CS2 (CS:GO) ★ Hand Wraps | Giraffe is permanently limited, which increases its rarity and value. The probability of unboxing the skin is exceptionally low, with odds estimated at less than 0.26% for gloves from each eligible case opening, making the Rarity of ★ Hand Wraps | Giraffe among the rarest glove drops. No Souvenir version exists, so all gloves must be directly unboxed or purchased secondhand. Its eye-catching appearance and status have maintained the skin's popularity, and the limited supply from discontinued cases solidifies its position as a premium collectible.
