The History of the Ground Rebel | Elite Crew in CS2 (CS:GO)

The Ground Rebel | Elite Crew in CS2 (CS:GO) was designed by Valve’s in-house art team as part of the operation to introduce agent skins, expanding the range of character customization in the game. This skin first appeared in November 2019 with the Operation Shattered Web update, marking a pivotal moment in the game’s history by allowing players to pick their own in-game avatars. As a member of the Elite Crew, the Ground Rebel has made appearances in numerous matches during CS:GO Majors, quickly gaining traction for its relatable urban look and tough streetwise appeal. The hype surrounding the Ground Rebel | Elite Crew saw a significant spike during the early days of Operation Shattered Web, as players rushed to unlock the new agents. Its debut became especially memorable thanks to famous players using the skin in high-profile tournaments. With the launch of CS2, the CS2 (CS:GO) Ground Rebel | Elite Crew transitioned seamlessly into the new version, preserving its cult status and remaining a popular pick due to nostalgia and consistent demand in the trading community.

How Rare Is the Ground Rebel | Elite Crew?

The Ground Rebel | Elite Crew in CS2 (CS:GO) is classified as a Superior Agent, making it relatively rare compared to standard agent skins. The CS2 (CS:GO) Ground Rebel | Elite Crew was originally obtainable exclusively through Operation Shattered Web Agents Capsules. Since the end of this operation, the capsule is no longer available in standard drop pools, which has increased the rarity of Ground Rebel | Elite Crew. The likelihood of unboxing a Superior Agent like this from the capsule was low, making it more sought after as supplies dwindle. The skin’s continuous popularity means its supply is limited, and the absence of a Souvenir Ground Rebel | Elite Crew version further adds to its exclusivity. Its presence in trading circles and on the Steam Market is competitive, so finding one in pristine condition is especially rare today.

Ground Rebel | Elite Crew Wear Levels and Conditions

Pattern description
The Ground Rebel | Elite Crew in CS2 (CS:GO) agent skin depicts a member of the Elite Crew donning urban attire, complete with dark jeans, a bomber jacket, tactical harness, and a signature painted mask.
Pattern difference: As an agent skin, the visual pattern does not change based on float or pattern index—every player who equips Ground Rebel | Elite Crew sees the same unique design.

Effect of float
Unlike weapon skins, agent skins such as Ground Rebel | Elite Crew do not have visible wear levels or float value; however, their market listings sometimes use terms like factory new to denote mint, untraded condition.
Skin Features: This agent skin stands out for its distinctive Elite Crew aesthetic and serves as a visual marker for team identity.

Wear levels explained:
Ground Rebel | Elite Crew factory new: This term refers to a newly obtained agent skin, typically untraded and untouched in the marketplace. Price for factory new is often the highest due to demand among collectors.
Ground Rebel | Elite Crew minimal wear: As there is no visual wear, minimal wear signifies a skin that may have been traded but remains in like-new status.
Ground Rebel | Elite Crew Field Tested: This generally refers to agent skins with several owners or listings, though there is no actual visual downgrade.
Ground Rebel | Elite Crew well worn: Similar to field tested, well worn denotes more transaction history rather than physical appearance.
Ground Rebel | Elite Crew Battle Scarred: Again, no visible wear applies; the term is not officially used but may be informally referenced by traders.
Ground Rebel | Elite Crew StatTrak: StatTrak™ versions are not available for agent skins, including Ground Rebel | Elite Crew.
Ground Rebel | Elite Crew float value: Not applicable for agent skins; prices and desirability are influenced instead by operation exclusivity and demand.
Ground Rebel | Elite Crew finish: All versions have the same polished finish due to the static nature of agent skins.
