The History of the FAMAS | Bad Trip in CS2 (CS:GO)

FAMAS | Bad Trip in CS2 (CS:GO) was designed by SLIMEface, an artist renowned in the Steam Workshop community for imaginative and bold creations. This skin made its debut on September 14, 2017, as part of the "Spectrum 2 Collection". Its launch added a new level of vibrance and street art culture to the FAMAS lineup, quickly becoming a talking point in the CS2 skin community. The rise to fame of the CS2 (CS:GO) FAMAS | Bad Trip occurred during several high-profile CS:GO Major tournaments, where pros wielding this skin generated considerable hype on social media and streams. With its trippy neon palette and striking paint splatter patterns, many players gravitated towards this skin, making it a staple in highlight clips and tournament matches. The excitement extended beyond majors, as in-game showcases and inventory reviews embraced the skin’s urban art style. Upon the transition into CS2, FAMAS | Bad Trip retained its popularity, as the updated engine amplified its electric colors and glossy finish, ensuring it remained a favorite among both newcomers and long-time fans.

How Rare Is the FAMAS | Bad Trip?

FAMAS | Bad Trip in CS2 (CS:GO) is classified as a Classified Rifle skin, which is the third-highest rarity tier. CS2 (CS:GO) FAMAS | Bad Trip can only be obtained from the Spectrum 2 Case and the Spectrum 2 Collection, which affects its market availability and rarity of FAMAS | Bad Trip. The skin remains in the drop pool, yet its Classified status means the odds of unboxing one are quite low, comparable to a 3.2% drop chance per case. There is no Souvenir FAMAS | Bad Trip version, so the rarest forms come from low float values or unique sticker placements. Its popularity remains strong due to the unique visual style, contributing to a moderate yet stable price trend. Since the supply is limited to Spectrum 2 cases, market fluctuations and skin demand can sometimes spike, especially with streamers or pro players using the skin.
