What Is the AWP Atheris?

The AWP | Atheris is a visually striking sniper rifle skin in CS2 (CS:GO), known for its Custom Paint Job finish and vivid green-and-blue viper design. With its aggressive, high-contrast look, the Atheris AWP skin stands out in any match, making it a popular choice among collectors and competitive players alike.
This skin was introduced to CS:GO on March 13, 2019, as part of the “Seeing the Light” update. It was released through the Prisma Case and belongs to The Prisma Collection. Designed by community artist Graff, the Atheris quickly gained popularity for its unique and venomous aesthetic.
The AWP Atheris is available in all wear conditions, ranging from Factory New to Battle-Scarred, with a float range of 0.00 to 1.00. This wide availability allows players to choose a version that fits their visual preference and budget. Whether you're after a flawless Atheris Factory New skin or a more worn-in look at a lower AWP Atheris price, this skin offers versatility for every type of CS2 (CS:GO) player.

The History of the AWP | Atheris in CS2 (CS:GO)

Atheris was well-received upon its release because of its unique design. The aesthetic of the skin stands out among other Restricted tier skins. At the same time, the AWP | Atheris price isn't overly expensive, making it affordable for many players in the CS2 community.
Over the years, the AWP | Atheris has maintained consistent popularity with regular and pro players. For example, FalleN and Snax have that skin in their inventories.
Since its release, Atheris's lowest price has grown 1.4 times, which means it has investment potential if you explore market trends and follow fluctuations. It also grew 2.8 times soon after the news of CS2's release because of hype around the new game physics, visual view of skins, and more realistic textures.

How Rare Is the AWP | Atheris?

AWP | Atheris is a Restricted rarity skin, meaning the drop odds of getting it through the case opening are high. Atheris comes in a standard version and with the StatTrack system, which offers the technology to count kills a player made with that skin.
Users can get Atheris through the Prisma Case opening. The chance of getting the skin is around 15.98%.
AWP | Atheris is among the best cheap AWP skins because of its recognizable design, venomous theme, and availability of StatTrack technology.

AWP | Atheris Wear Levels and Conditions

Fortunately for many CS2 players, Atheris is available in all wear conditions (from Factory New to Battle-Scarred). We provide a table with a wear range for better understanding:

Factory New: 0.00 — 0.07

Minimal Wear: 0.07 — 0.15

Field-Tested: 0.15 — 0.38

Well-Worn: 0.38 — 0.45

Battle-Scarred: 0.45 — 1.00

The Factory New wear condition has a higher quality of the AWP | Atheris skin. From 0.07 (Minimal Wear), there is a beginning of losing color and abrasions, which grows up to a complete lack of color with a reminder of a snake on the rifle body (Battle-Scarred).

AWP | Atheris Price & Market Value

As with many other skins in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, AWP | Atheris's price depends on wear level, the availability of the StatTrack system (or the Souvenir version), and other factors such as float value and stickers.
Here, you can check how much AWP | Atheris costs in different qualities:
Factory New

Not StatTrak: $12.00 — $18.00

StatTrak: $33.00 — $57.00

Minimal Wear

Not StatTrak: $6.00 — $8.50

StatTrak: $15.00 — $25.00

Field-Tested

Not StatTrak: $2.00 — $6.00

StatTrak: $8.00 — $13.00

Well-Worn

Not StatTrak: $2.00 — $5.00

StatTrak: $6.00 — $11.00

Battle-Scarred

Not StatTrak: $2.00 — $5.00

StatTrak: $6.00 — $10.00

As you can see, the AWP | Atheris Factory New price is higher than other skin wear conditions because of the lack of wear signs. Moreover, the AWP | Atheris with the StatTrak technology is the most valuable in that case.

What Is the StatTrack AWP | Atheris?

The difference between the AWP | Atheris with the StatTrack system and without it lies in the following keys:

Kill Counter: The AWP | Atheris, with the StatTrack technology, has a built-in digital counter that tracks the number of kills a player makes by using a skin.

Visual Indicator: The StatTrack AWP | Atheris has a small orange LED display on the body of the sniper rifle that shows the kill counter.

Price and Rarity: The ST version of the weapon skin mainly costs more than regular skins. The official drop odds of getting a skin with the StatTrack system is 10%, meaning that technology is rare.

What Is the Souvenir AWP | Atheris

There is no Souvenir version of AWP | Atheris in CS2 (CS:GO). Unlike some other iconic AWP skins, CS2 (CS:GO) AWP | Atheris was not included in any tournament Souvenir collections, meaning it cannot be found with pro player autographs or acquired from souvenir drops at Majors. As a result, there are no record-breaking sales or unique tournament-commemorating versions of this particular skin.

How to Get a AWP | Atheris

There are several common ways to get the AWP | Atheris skin in CS2, and one of the most convenient options is to buy it directly on Skin.Place. This trusted third-party marketplace offers a wide selection of CS2 skins, including Atheris Factory New and StatTrak™ versions, often at better prices than the Steam Market. With secure transactions, flexible payment options, and real-money cashouts, Skin.Place is a reliable platform for players looking to expand their collection or sell CS2 (CS:GO) skins with ease.
You can also find the Atheris on the Steam Community Market, Valve’s official skin trading platform. While it’s a secure and widely used option, it comes with limitations in terms of deposit and withdrawal methods and pricing flexibility. That’s why many players prefer third-party platforms like Skin.Place to get better deals and faster service.
Another way to get the Atheris AWP skin is by trying your luck through case openings. Specifically, it drops from the Prisma Case, released in 2019. The odds of pulling a Restricted skin like Atheris are around 15.98%, and if you’re aiming for the StatTrak™ version, the odds drop to 1.598%. While this method is thrilling, it involves chance and may not be cost-effective if you're targeting a specific wear level or price range.
Lastly, you can attempt to obtain the skin through trade-up contracts. This method requires using ten Mil-Spec skins, ideally from The Prisma Collection, to increase your chance of receiving a Restricted skin like Atheris. However, the outcome is entirely random, making it a gamble rather than a guarantee.
Skip the grind and randomness, visit Skin.Place now to buy your AWP | Atheris instantly at the best price available.
