The History of the AK-47 | Wild Lotus in CS2 (CS:GO)

The AK-47 | Wild Lotus in CS2 (CS:GO) was designed by community artist "Graff" and first introduced in December 2019 with the St. Marc Collection during Operation Shattered Web. Its debut immediately sparked excitement due to the distinctive floral art and rarity. Throughout its history, the CS2 (CS:GO) AK-47 | Wild Lotus has not only turned heads for its vivid aesthetic but also served as a status symbol during major CS:GO tournaments, cementing its place as a grail skin for many fans and professional players. The skin's limited distribution in the operation-exclusive St. Marc Collection meant supply was always scarce, amplifying demand across each wave of community hype—especially during major CS:GO events when renowned pro players would showcase the Wild Lotus live. With the transition into CS2, the skin retained—and arguably increased—its legendary status, attracting both long-term traders and new collectors. Its recognition and desirability remain at an all-time high in CS2 as players continue to view the Wild Lotus as a crown jewel in any serious collection.

How Rare Is the AK-47 | Wild Lotus?

The AK-47 | Wild Lotus in CS2 (CS:GO) is a Covert rifle skin and one of the rarest items in the game. The CS2 (CS:GO) AK-47 | Wild Lotus could only be obtained from the St. Marc Collection, which was available exclusively during Operation Shattered Web. Since the operation ended, the skin was removed from all possible drop pools, intensifying both its scarcity and collector demand. The rarity of AK-47 | Wild Lotus is further enhanced by the lack of cases or active collections that currently drop the skin. The odds of unboxing it during the operation were incredibly low, as it was the Covert-tier jackpot of the St. Marc Collection. There is also no Souvenir version, making non-Souvenir Wild Lotus skins the only way to obtain this masterpiece. Its vibrant look and extreme rarity have resulted in immense popularity within the trading community, and its supply remains limited to the small number of skins in circulation from its brief release period.

AK-47 | Wild Lotus Wear Levels and Conditions

Pattern description:
The AK-47 | Wild Lotus finish boasts an elegant fusion of vibrant lotuses, lush foliage, and intricate gold accents over a deep green background.
Pattern difference:
Unlike some skins, the Wild Lotus has consistent pattern placement, so visual variance is minimal regardless of pattern index.
Effect of float:
The AK-47 | Wild Lotus float value ranges from 0.00 to 1.00, allowing it in all wear levels. Higher floats result in more visible wear, while low floats keep colors rich and textures crisp.
Wear levels explained:
Factory New: The AK-47 | Wild Lotus factory new variant is exceptionally valuable, showcasing near-perfect detail and color vibrancy, often fetching top prices for its pristine look.
Minimal Wear: The AK-47 | Wild Lotus minimal wear skin preserves most of the floral details, with just faint wear on magazine corners and handguard areas; price remains almost as high as Factory New.
Field-Tested: The AK-47 | Wild Lotus Field Tested displays light but visible scratches and subtle fading, especially on the receiver, yet still commands a premium due to rarity.
Well-Worn: The AK-47 | Wild Lotus well worn version has clear abrasions on multiple surfaces, leading to less saturated colors, but remains highly sought after for budget conscious collectors.
Battle-Scarred: The AK-47 | Wild Lotus Battle Scarred reveals extensive wear with significant fading, though core patterns are still recognizable—this is the least expensive variant, but still a luxury item compared to most skins.
StatTrak™: The AK-47 | Wild Lotus StatTrak versions—available across all conditions—are even rarer and pricier, appealing to those seeking kill-tracking and ultimate exclusivity.
The combination of the AK-47 | Wild Lotus finish, float value, and StatTrak™ technology makes every wear level a collector's item, with price and demand sharply increasing for better-preserved or unique StatTrak™ variants.
