What is 2020 RMR Contenders? 2020 RMR Contenders represents a collection of team and player stickers released for the 2020 Regional Major Rankings (RMR) tournament series. The 2020 RMR Contenders in CS2 (CS:GO) sticker capsule is highly recognized for commemorating rising teams that participated in the elite competition lineup. Among Counter-Strike 2 players, these stickers have gained importance as both collectibles and representations of community history. The CS2 (CS:GO) 2020 RMR Contenders capsule has attracted attention from collectors and professional players alike due to its limited release and the fact that it marks a unique period in competitive CS:GO. Its distinct design, along with the nostalgia of the 2020 esports season, ensures lasting value for players who want to showcase their support for underdog teams. For pros and collectors, owning a 2020 RMR Contenders sticker or capsule amplifies not only their inventory’s visual appeal, but also its historical significance within the CS:GO and CS2 communities.
The History of the 2020 RMR Contenders in CS2 (CS:GO)
Players and fans first noticed the 2020 RMR Contenders on the Steam Market and in-game store, where it quickly rose in popularity due to the absence of a standard Major souvenir drops. As the CS:GO community adapted to the RMR format, these stickers became a way to immortalize the teams that fought hard to earn their place at the top.
During the 2020-2021 period, social media and forums were filled with hype and speculation on the future value of these stickers, especially as many considered the collection to commemorate a unique moment in esports history. With the transition to CS2, CS2 (CS:GO) 2020 RMR Contenders stickers retained their appeal, both as nostalgia pieces for older fans and as rare visuals for new players, contributing to their ongoing relevance in the evolving game landscape.
How Rare Is the 2020 RMR Contenders?
The probability of unboxing a specific sticker from the capsule is low due to the number of contenders represented, making high-demand stickers even rarer and more expensive. Souvenir versions do not exist for this sticker capsule, so collectors focus on regular and foil/holo variants. Because the capsules are no longer in the active drop pool, their market value and rarity continue to increase over time, especially for popular or visually appealing stickers. In terms of popularity, the 2020 RMR Contenders capsule is highly sought after by sticker collectors, investors, and players looking for memorable tournament memorabilia.
2020 RMR Contenders Wear Levels and Conditions
The 2020 RMR Contenders finish features signature team logos and player autographs from contenders of the 2020 RMR in bold, team-colored designs. The sticker style includes regular paper, Holo, and Foil options, appealing to a variety of customization preferences.
Pattern difference
There are no distinct pattern variations, as stickers maintain consistency in color and logo regardless of float.
Effect of float
Unlike traditional weapon skins, stickers such as the 2020 RMR Contenders in CS2 (CS:GO) are not affected by float values. Application wear instead affects their appearance – partial transparency, edge wear, or fading after being scraped repeatedly.
Skin Features
All CS2 (CS:GO) 2020 RMR Contenders stickers are available only as regular, Holo, or Foil. There are no weapon-specific wear grades like 2020 RMR Contenders factory new or 2020 RMR Contenders minimal wear; instead, sticker quality is defined by variant.
Factory New & Minimal Wear
2020 RMR Contenders factory new and 2020 RMR Contenders minimal wear refer, in this context, to freshly unboxed stickers with no visible scraping or damage. Their prices are at a premium due to pristine condition.
Field-Tested, Well-Worn, Battle-Scarred
If a 2020 RMR Contenders finish sticker is applied and then scraped, it may display as 2020 RMR Contenders well worn or even 2020 RMR Contenders Battle Scarred based on the degree of scraping. These are subjective, visual descriptors, and heavily scraped stickers have significantly lower resale value.
StatTrak™ versions
There are no 2020 RMR Contenders StatTrak stickers, as StatTrak™ is exclusive to weapon skins; however, applying 2020 RMR stickers to StatTrak™ weapons can increase both item’s desirability. 2020 RMR Contenders float value does not exist for stickers, but rarity and market appeal are determined by sticker condition (unapplied vs. scraped).
2020 RMR Contenders Price & Market Value
For 2020 RMR Contenders factory new (unapplied), the price is the highest, while scraped stickers lose much of their value. How much is the 2020 RMR Contenders? On average, unopened capsules trade for $0.20-$0.60, but high-demand holo or foil stickers, like those from Gambit Youngsters or Spirit, are priced higher.
Factors influencing price include: float value (irrelevant for stickers), sticker finish (paper, holo, foil), and scarcity since capsules are discontinued. The market shows that rare 2020 RMR Contenders price spikes can occur for teams that later broke out or disbanded, enhancing collectability. Is 2020 RMR Contenders worth buying? For collectors or players wanting to showcase tournament history or invest in possible future demand, the CS2 (CS:GO) 2020 RMR Contenders stickers are a budget-friendly and sentimental choice, but price growth potential may be modest compared to Major or early-era stickers.
