About me:

Hi, my Name is Thorben. My passions are History, Archaeology and video games, Counter-Strike in particular.I have been playing Counter-Strike for around 10 years. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive was my first Counter-Strike game.I quickly fell in love with the world of skins. CS had the most layered and developed skins economy in the whole video gaming world.Never mind if it it a nice themed loadout or some skins and crafts. We have the ultimate freedom in choosing and customising our skins, which is why I love them. Admittedly, I have not been “grinding” the CS2 ranks like I used to in GO, I think going for an prestigious Rank like “Global Elite” still feels better than chasing “30k”.

I have been writing articles and working in the CS scene since 2020. First on a volunteer basis on EsportFire, and afterwards I moved on to run and guide the GamerPay Blog. Now I am back at EsportFire as Head of Content and occasionally writing for Skinplace!
